However, we have made an attempt to explain the pros and cons of the elevators and escalator as it will prove to be easy for the customers to decide which product will be best suited for their needs. For example there might be a dilemma as to which of the product will be best suited for a particular application. As these devices/ gadgets/ machines serve a common basic purpose and that is the mobilization of people from one place to another. There can be situations as to choose which of this will be best suited. Before we move on to the advantages and disadvantages we also need to consider clearing the basics for some of the readers who will want to know the fundamental aspect that differentiates these machines from each other. The question in your mind might be that what is the basic difference between escalators and elevators? Well, the answer to this question is also fairly simple. I will try to put it in simple words and also explain with a real life example so that the readers will be able to relate to it in a better sense. Elevators are also known as lifts are mostly used in the residential buildings for the passengers to travel from one floor to another, generally vertically. Hence they are also known as lifts. Escalators on the other hand also take passengers from one floor to another but with the help of moving stairs or conveyer belts. These escalators are mostly seen in shopping malls airports etc. This blog is not only written to educate people about the difference between the elevators and escalators but this is also a guide to the people who are looking for escalatorcompanies in India or manufacturers of escalators in Mumbai.
